On to Omaha, well, college anyway

I have gone full swing into this baseball project and have jotted some ideas down. I have really had fun doing these portraits of baseball players. I can't wait to do the pros and little leaguers. But here is the latest portrait of UNM player Brian Cavazos-Galvez. He is a pretty cool guy and one of UNM's sluggers.
The way I shot it was a flash head pointed at him then a flash head off to the left giving a little light to the claw. I shot this at 1/50th of second at 4.5 aperture. I can't remember what the lights were on but they were real low. I'll post more photos as I get them done.

I got abducted

Sorry for the long hiatus of not posting. I was kind of busy with work and such. But anyways I am in the process of doing a portrait project of baseball players. Here is the first of the series. I will keep you guys posted on the progress.

I will try to give you technical details of the shoots. This is of Valley Vikings Ryan Reynolds, he is one of the stud pitchers in the state. I cross lit these two portraits with two Alien Bees one was a 1600 and the other an 800. The camera was a D70 and the settings were 1/250th at f16 or so.
